Ok, so I’m not a big gambler. Used to play a little blackjack at the local casino in college and the occassional casual poker game in the dorm lobby. Did you know pool table pockets are great for holding soda cans?
Well, just over a week ago we got together with some friends and decided to hit up the Little Creek Casino in Shelton, WA. I had some extra cash on hand and decided to play a bit of blackjack for ol’ times sake and see where lady luck lead.
After playing for about 15-20 minutes and watching my short stack of chips go moderately up and down decided to take a break after the next hand. That’s when it happened…
I was dealt two Aces. Following the general rule to split such a lovely pair I did so.
Next card… Ace… Split again.
Next card… Ace… Split again!
Four Aces… needless to say I’d started to sweat.

Next card… Queen… Blackjack.
Next card… 6… stay at 17.
Next card… Jack… Blackjack.
Next card… King… Blackjack.
And the dealer busted!
I played one more hand and left the table, :-).
